HUBUNGAN BEBAN KERJA DENGAN STRES KERJA PADA KARYAWAN LAPANGAN PT.PLN (PERSERO) ULP PANCUR BATU

Data dari Health and Safety Executif sebanyak 51% pekerja di dunia mengelami stres terkait pekerjaan, sedangkan menurut survey Gallup pekerja di Indonesia yang mengalami stres sebanyak 20%, sedangkan di Sumatera Utara, 73,2% pekerja mengalami stres kerja rendah, 19,5% sedang, serta 7,3% tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil survey Price Waterhouse Coopers, secara global beban kerja meningkat sebanyak 40%, sedangkan di Indonesia beban kerja meningkat 46%, selanjutnya sumatrea utara terdapat 29,3% pekerja mengalami beban kerja dalam kategori rendah, 58,5% pekerja mengalami beban kerja dalam kategori sedang, dan sebanyak 12,2% pekerja mengalami beban kerja dalam kategori tinggi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan beban kerja dengan stres kerja pada karyawan lapangan PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Pancur Batu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode penelitian Cross Sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah total sampling atau seluruh karyawan lapangan yang berjumlah 50 karyawan. Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi pearson. Hasil penelitia ini ditemukan nilai (p) = 0,001, terdapat hubungan beban kerja dengan stres kerja pada karyawan lapangan PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Pancur Batu. Penelitian ini menyarankan bagi karyawan menjaga kondisi fisik dengan pola hidup sehat, menggunakan alat pelindung diri, dan melakukan peregangan saat bekerja. Karyawan juga dianjurkan mengelola stres secara positif dan mengikuti pelatihan. Bagi perusahaan disarankan memperhatikan ergonomi kerja, mengatur jadwal dan rotasi tugas, serta menyediakan fasilitas pendukung dan pelatihan stres kerja. Pemberian apresiasi non-materi seperti family gathering dan fasilitas olahraga juga diharapkan meningkatkan motivasi dan kenyamanan kerja.

The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between workload and work-related stress among field employees of PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Pancur Batu. This type of research is quantitative using a cross-sectional research method. The sampling technique used is total sampling of all field employees, amounting to 50 employees. Data analysis was conducted using Pearson correlation test. The results of this study found a value of (p) = 0.001, indicating a relationship between workload and work-related stress in the field employees of PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Pancur Batu. This study recommends that employees maintain physical condition with a healthy lifestyle, use personal protective equipment, and stretch while working. Employees are also advised to manage stress positively and participate in training. Companies are advised to pay attention to work ergonomics, manage schedules and task rotations, and provide supporting facilities and stress management training. Providing non-material appreciation such as family gatherings and sports facilities is also expected to enhance motivation and work comfort.
